The EMMY Awards, the Oscars, JD Power & Associates - these are all awards and rating systems for the general public to assess the relative merit of a variety of products.

In the new home building industry here in Minneapolis & St. Paul it is the REGGIE & TRILLIUM awards. These two names are a service mark of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities. Each year over one hundred judges come to the twin cities and view new model homes and evaluate them against their peers, divided by price and product type.

Since Hanson Builders won it's very first award in 1987, it has never missed a year, and we have garnered more total awards than any other builder! Not brag, just fact.  Our team is very proud of this accomplishment. Thousands of hours of research, design, detail, construction, and merchandising efforts go into each model home.

As you shop various builders, some may say they don't enter these competitions for a variety of reasons. Well, these awards are the OLYMPICS of our industry. We prepare, train, and compete, and will continue to do so. In fact, several members of our team regularly serve as judges for competative builders' entries.

Just as Lexus, Acura, Mercedes, and others all vie for JD Power awards, so we too strive to have our peers rate us against others. The judges are independent, and as with an automobile purchase, don't you want to know you are buying from a market leader?
